Wes Breyfogle

Wes Breyfogle is the newest Operating Partner addition to Craftsman Capital. Mr. Breyfogle joins Craftsman Capital after serving as a CEO of ScanData and Interim CEO of BOXX, both Craftsman Capital portfolio companies.

As CEO of ScanData, Mr. Breyfogle oversaw the post-acquisition of ScanData by Craftsman Capital and subsequent value creation that lead to the acquisition by Transplace and ultimately Uber Freight (NYSE:  UBER) where he served as the SVP of Parcel Solutions.

 

During his tenure as the CEO of ScanData, Mr. Breyfogle expanded the legacy product and built a cloud solution; expanded the sales, product development, customer success, product management and accounting functions; grew existing customers like Walmart, CVS and JCrew; and executed a new go-to-market strategy that introduced new clients such as Nike, Nordstrom, JCPenney, and HelloFresh.  These activities tripled EBITDA and doubled revenue in three years.

 

Prior to ScanData, Mr. Breyfogle was the SVP of Business Development for SapientRazorfish where he oversaw the North American business development teams and coordinated participation in opportunities across Publicis Groupe agencies.  Over his 13 years at Razorfish he acquired and managed work for over 50 market leading brands like Honda, Southwest Airlines, Neiman Marcus, RIM, Mary Kay, USAA, Microsoft, Shell, H&R Block, ExxonMobil, Citi Retail Services and Ameriprise totaling nearly $1billion of net fees over the life of these clients.

 

Prior to Razorfish, Mr. Breyfogle was the General Manager and VP of Business Development at MomentumSI (acquired by VMWare), and he also held management positions at The George Group (acquired by Anderson Consulting) and Andersen Business Consulting.

 

Mr. Breyfogle spends his personal time raising his two children, running, and supporting various local non-profit organizations.  Wes holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
